we don't really like the interweb. wait, it's not really the interweb itself that we dislike (who can argue with the democratization of information?), but, to be honest, it's how the interweb looks and feels that bothers us. really, it's the stunning sameness of it all. all that promise, all those resources and this is all we get.

so, we chose to opt out. we initially tried to make this website look like a normal website, but we just didn't want to take the time to do it. so, instead, we chose ugly.
